COVID-19: Rivers Records Its Highest As Nigeria Confirms 1,386 New Cases

Rivers State recorded its highest number of infections on Wednesday with a record 163 new cases.

The state came second behind Lagos which recorded the highest number of 476 cases as Nigeria confirmed 1,386 more cases of COVID-19.

The new figures collated from 22 states take the total confirmed cases in Nigeria to 114,691.

Also, there were 14 more deaths and a total of 1,478 so far.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), said 1,136 persons got discharged on Wednesday and a total of 92,336 recoveries have been achieved in 11 months.
