COZA: Aisha Buhari ‘Warns’ Police IG Over Invitation To Timi, Busola Dakolo

First Lady Aisha Buhari has warned against intimidation of singer Timi Dakolo and his wife, Busola, by the Nigeria Police.

Aisha’s warning came after the police stormed the residence of the Dakolos to serve them invitation to appear at the Police Force Headquarters in Abuja on Tuesday to answer some questions on alleged “criminal conspiracy, falsehood, mischief and threat to life” leveled against them in a case they’re investigating.

It is believed that the police invitation is in connection with Busola’s recent rape allegation against the senior pastor of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), Biodun Fatoyinbo.

Busola’s husband, Timi had taken to Instagram to allege intimidation of his family after some armed policemen stormed his residence to serve him and his wife the invitation letters.

“Our lawyers had told us to get ready for this letter. We have long been ready for this type of institutionalized intimidation and dirtiness,” he said in an Instagram post.

The letters addressed to the couple were issued from the office of the Inspector General of Police, IGP Special Tactical Squad, and signed by the Deputy Commissioner of Police in the unit, DCP Kolo Yusuf.
