Cristiano Ronaldo Out

Juventus and Portugal forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, would be out of action after testing positive for Coronavirus on international duty for his country.

The five time Ballon D’or winner will miss Portugal’s game against Sweden.

The countries Football Federation confirmed the news through an official statement.
“Cristiano Ronaldo was released from training with the national team after a positive test for Covid-19, so he will not face Sweden.

“The Portugal international is doing well, without symptoms, and in isolation.

Following the positive test, the remaining players underwent new tests on Tuesday morning, and all produced a negative result and are available to Fernando Santos for training this afternoon.”

The forward, 35 is set to miss Portugal’s game against Sweden on Wednesday and also Juventus league fixture with with Crotone and a Champions League group game against Dynamo Kiev.
