Cyber Crime: Suspected Internet Fraudsters Found With Charms Land In EFCC Net

Ten suspected internet fraudsters have been picked up by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over their alleged involvement in cybercrime.

According to a statement by the anti-graft agency, suspects who were picked up from their hideout in the Basin area of Ilorin, Kwara State.

The statement noted that items recovered from the suspects included dangerous charms, smart phones, laptop computers and fake currencies.

The suspects, the statement further stated, are Paul Chibuzor, David Daniels, Tolu Ogundowole, Tosin Ogundowole, Agwu Goodness, Olayiwola Azeez, Olamide Ijisesan, Chilaka Dickson, Abdullahi Abubakar and Temitope Bambo,

The EFCC said the suspects have volunteered information to the commission, while investigation is still in progress.

Reports of alleged cyber crimes have become a recurring decimal in recent times with several arrests across the country.

The most notable of such reports is one involving musician, Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, who is under investigation for internet fraud.
