Chelsea’s loanee Tomas Kalas got the only goal in the match from a rebound after an initial header at the 24th minute, as the Gernot Rohr side lost their second match in a row.

Mikel Obi got a chance to equalise for the Eagles in 64th minute but his header was weak and went straight into the Pavlenka, while Victor Moses also missed a fantastic chance to level up for Nigeria but failed to utilise the chance created for him by Odion Ighalo who dribbled his way into Czech’s box.

Recall The Eagle start the World Cup campaign with a narrow win against Poland, the Eagles also lost to Serbia and England, but pulled a draw against Congo DR.

Nigeria’s next match is now slated to be their World Cup Group D opener against Croatia on June 16, the remaining group fixture will see them face Iceland on June 22 and Argentina on June 26.
