Davido Calls Out Ugandan Musician Bebe Cool Over Role In Arrest Of Omah Lay, Tems

Nigerian singer, Davido, has called out Ugandan musician, Moses Ssali, popularly known as Bebe Cool, over the alleged role he played in the arrest of Omah Lay and Tems in Uganda.

THE WHISTLER reports that there have been outrage on social media after the Ugandan police arrested and detained the fast-rising Nigerian singers for allegedly flouting the country’s COVID-19 protocols by performing at a concert.

Bebe Cool was reported to have threatened to frustrate the Nigerian singers’ show on the grounds that the Ugandan authorities had stopped musicians in the country from holding concerts over COVID-19, but were allowing foreign artists to organize shows in the country.

The singer was subsequently accused of influencing Omah Lay and Tems’ arrest after their concerts reportedly sold out.

Davido, in reaction to the reports, took to his twitter page to call out the Ugandan singer. He tweeted “Dem say you Dey fuckup @BebeCoolUG … no wahala .. on G”

A few days before the event tagged “The Big Brunch”, Bebe Cool had made a post on Facebook where he threatened to make, “every effort to fail this event.”
