Davido’s ‘Fall’ Bags No 1 Position On The Shazam US Chart

Davido has become the first Nigerian artist to be number one on a US music chart as his single “Fall” tops the chart for the most searched song via Shazam music app in New York, US.

‘Fall’ which was released in 2017 is now number one on the New York Shazam charts for songs that listeners in the United States city have searched for its identity.

‘Fall’ topped songs like Lil Wayne’s ‘Uproar’, Travis Scott’s ‘Sicko Mode’, ‘Backin It Up’ by Pardison Fontaine featuring Cardi B and Ella Mai’s ‘Trip’.

Taking to his Twitter page, Davido shared his excitement through a post which had the caption, ”We got the most Shazam song in New York!!! Its Lit!!”

Shazam is one of the most popular apps in the world, used by millions of music lovers each month to instantly identify a new song that is playing now and also view what others are discovering.

The app also provides details like the artist name and song title of the song playing at the time.
