Davido’s ‘Fall’ Sets Record In Global Billboard Chart

Nigerian singer David Adedeji Adeleke better known as Davido has again set a global record through his single ‘fall’ which continued to climb on the Billboard chart.

The singer’s 2017 hit single, ‘Fall’ was recognized last year as the most enjoyed Non-American Song in US. It was said to hit heights on the Billboard on Tuesday, 5th February 2019.

‘Fall’ has climbed to the 29th position in the global charts board after four consecutive weeks and have become the first ever Nigerian single to achieve such position.

It was said to move from 39th position in previous week to occupy the 29th spot and the highest place ever for Nigerian song on the Billboard Top 100 R&B/Hop Charts week ending February 9th ,2019.

Speaking during an interview, Davido said, ”No, I have always wondered why is it ‘Fall’? out of every song, Fall is not even the song I wanted people to know before, but in America, they play it on the radio every 20 minutes and then it is just moving up quickly, The Billboard top RnB song, number 25 and it’s moving up.”
