Deji Adeyanju Released On Bail

A Magistrate Court in Kano State has released the convener of Concerned Nigerians, Deji Adeyanju on bail.

Former minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode who confirmed this, said Adeyanju was granted bail in the sum of N500,000 and two sureties, and was asked to deposit his international passport.

Fani- Kayode on his Twitter page wrote: “Great news that Adeyanju Deji has been granted bail after spending over 60 days in a Kano prison simply because he spoke truth to power.

“We give thanks to God. I am so proud of this deeply courageous and inspiring young man. Head bloodied but not bowed!”

Recall that Adeyanju was arrested and imprisoned over charges of culpable homicide levelled against him by the Nigeria Police Force. He spent 63 days in prison.
