Delegates Clash At APC Convention

Some delegates at the ongoing All Progressives National Convention exchanged blows and verbal abuses.

The clashes occurred among delegates Delta State, with chairs and brooms being hurled at several people.

According to an eye-witness, trouble started when a faction of Delta State’s delegates led by Senator Ovie Omo Agege started a heated argument with another faction.

The clashes first occurred while President Muhammadu Buhari was delivering his speech.

The cause of the confusion was not known but security officials quickly moved in to restore normalcy.
