Delta Govt Orders Closure Of Schools, Declares Curfew

Following the events trailing the EndSARS protests, the Delta State Government has ordered the closure of all schools in the State till November 2.

Delta State governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, announced this in a state-wide broadcast on Thursday, BBC pidgin reports.

The Governor also imposed a 48-hour curfew in the State to prevent total breakdown of law and order.

He also stressed that Government would be monitoring the situation.
