Designer’s Website Crashes After Producing A Dress Worn By The Duchess Of Cambridge

A Fashion designer in India, Anita Dongre’s website has crashed after she made a dress for the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and wife visited India earlier this week as part of the couple’s tour of Asia.

It was gathered that the site crashed following numerous demands all across the world for the same dress, after the Duchess was spotted wearing the dress, as she took part in a game of cricket with some local children.

Kate Middleton wore a printed tunic customised version of Dongre’s dress, which is from the designer’s summer 2016 collection.

According to Dongre, the dress was inspired by the city of Jaipur, the seat of a former princely state.

The designer revealed that, Middleton’s stylist Natasha Archer had been in touch with her and demanded for her look book and a few outfits.

Dongre said she had no idea if Middleton would actually wear the dress, and so the photographs came as a pleasant surprise.

The website has now been worked on and is currently running. Dongre is now offering the dress for $210.
