According to premium times, Mr. Mba who was arrested over an alleged N15 billion fraud, was picked up in Abuja and taken to the EFCC’s headquarters where he is currently being interrogated.
A source who pleaded anonymity revealed that the anti-graft agency had been investigating the NBC in the past one month, and just last week, some detectives stormed the headquarters of the NBC, ransacked the computers and files in the Finance and Account unit, and arrested some officials.
It was learnt that the officials of the NBC who were taken away, implicated their boss during in their confession to the EFCC.

Although, the EFCC spokesperson, Wilson Uwujaren, could not confirm the arrest when contacted, a top official of EFCC said: “Yes, he (Mr. Mba) is with us. We are investigating massive diversion of public funds and we’re making progress. Mba definitely has questions to answer.”
