EFCC Recovers N110.82m In North-East In 2017

The North-East division of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has recovered N110, 820,023 million in the region in 2017.

EFCC’s Head of Operations, North-East zone, Malam Aminu Aliyu, told newsmen on Tuesday in Gombe that the commission recovered the said sum from January to July this year.

The recovery was made in tranches of N79, 074, 743.53 in bank drafts and N31, 745,280 in cash, Aliyu said.

The zonal head said the suspects, whose identities he didn’t reveal, are undergoing EFCC investigations.
