Ekiti Attorney-General Tests Positive For COVID-19 Five Days After Fayemi

The Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice in Ekiti State, Mr Wale Fapohunda, has tested positive for COVID-19.

Fapohunda announced his status on his Twitter handle on Sunday night.

The tweet reads, “The result of my second COVID-19 test came out positive today.

” In line with the established protocols, I have commenced a period of self-isolation. In my absence, all state legal matters should be referred to the Solicitor-General of the state.”

This development came five days after the state Governor, Kayode Fayemi, tested positive for the virus

The governor, who is also the Chairman, Nigeria Governor’s Forum said he was strong but he is currently self isolating.
