Encouraging Turn Out Greets Nyanya Gbagyi Polling Unit

A good number of voters have turned out for today’s general elections at the Nyanyan Gbagyi polling unit in karu local government area of Nasarawa state.

When the Whistler arrived the polling unit at about 7:25am, it was observed that a large amount of voters have converged, patiently awaiting for the officials of the commission to arrive.

Among those who spoke to medium including Chinenye, Abosede and Dahiru. They expressed enthusiasm for the poll, adding that they are ready to elect their new leaders.

Asked further how they feel about the earlier postponement, they all noted that they felt disappointed but that is now gone with the reality that the election day has finally come.

They further called on the commission to conduct a peaceful and transparent election that will reflect the wishes of the people.
