#EndSARS: Our Website Not Hacked—NNPC

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation has refuted reports that its website has been hacked by “Anonymous”.

Following the continued #ENDSARS protest across the country, there were reports at the weekend, purporting that the accounts of various government institutions were being hacked, including the Central bank of Nigeria, State house amongst other.

However, the NNPC through its twitter handle on monday said that no breach whatsoever was recorded on its web-based platforms.

While assuring partners and stakeholders of the fidelity of its spamware protections, the Corporation said that its web-based platforms are adequately protected

“The #NNPC web-based platforms are adequately protected and members of the public are assured of continued quality services on all our internet channels”.
