Recall that many Nigerians had criticized the brutality of some officials of the Nigeria Police Force.

This led to the disbandment of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, which has now been replaced with the Special Weapons And Tactical Team(SWAT).

The protest was however hijacked by hoodlums who took to the streets to wreak havoc.

On his part, President Muhammadu Buhari had noted that while protest is a fundamental right, the activities of hoodlums must be dealt with.
