#EndSARS Protest: Sam Adeyemi Slams ‘Frivolous Suit’ Against Him, 49 Others

President of the Day Star Christian Center, Lagos , Pastor Sam Adeyemi, has reacted to a suit filed against him and 49 others by one Kenechukwu Okeke.

THE WHISTLER earlier reported that Okeke had lodged a criminal proceeding against them at the Chief Magistrate’s court in Abuja, alleging that they promoted riots during the recent EndSARS protests.

Okeke’s suit against the pastor and others had been trending since he floated it on Twitter on Tuesday.

Reacting, Adeyemi considered the suit as a joke.

“Who sent this guy to file this frivolous law suit?,” he queried in a tweet on Tuesday.

Other defendants in the suit are Aisha Yesufu, Bureau for Public Sector Reform, Dr Joe Abah; investigative reporter, Kiki Mordi, Folarin Falana (Falz) and others.

Okeke had alleged that the defendants influenced the violent turnout of the protest which led to the destruction of his property.
