Etebo Joins Getafe On Loan

Getafe announced the arrival of the midfielder Thursday. The deal is expected to last till the end of the season, with Getafe having a purchase option.

Etebo joined Stoke in the summer of 2018 from Feirense Portugal for a transfer fee of £6.3m.

He had previously spent time on a loan deal at Las Palmas in La Liga.

The 24-year-old midfielder was a vital player under former boss Nathan Jones, he however fell out of favour when Michael O’Neill took over in November.

He never played under the new manager after he had recovered from injury, but it was hinted that he had not done enough in training to secure first team selection.

Meanwhile, LaLiga Santander has officially paid a welcome tribute to the Nigerian international.
