Evangelist Arrested For Raping 12-Yr-Old In Anambra

One Chukwudi Ndubuisi, aged 38, of Ekpunegbu village in Nnewi Local Government Area of Anambra State, has been arrested by the state police command for allegedly luring and having carnal knowledge of his neighbour’s 12-year-old daughter.

He was arrested on 28/8/2020 by police operatives attached to Nnewi Division.

A statement issued by the state police public relations officer, SP Haruna Mohammed, stated that police detectives took the victim to the hospital for medical examination where penetration and laceration of her hymen were confirmed by the medical doctor.

According to the statement, “The suspect has voluntarily confessed to the crime, and the case was transferred to the state Criminal Investigation Department for investigations as directed by the state commissioner of police, CP John B. Abang.

The suspect would be charged to court for prosecution as soon as investigation is concluded.”
