Ex-Deputy Governor’s Daughter Allegedly Used For Money Ritual By Boyfriend

The daughter of former Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Alhaji Olugbenga Oluboyo, who is also a final year student of Adekunle Ajasin University, identified as Adenike Khadijat Oluboyo, was on Sunday found dead at her boyfriend’s house in Akure.

This came six days after Oluboyo’s friends and family declared her missing in her school.

She was however, found dead under the bed of her boyfriend in what was alleged for money rituals by the boyfriend, Adeyemi Alao aka QS.

Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) Ondo command, Femi Joseph, who confirmed the death of the deceased, described the incident as sad and very unfortunate.

Meanwhile, one of the deceased family members who pleaded for his name to be withheld from the public, confirmed to Radio Nigeria that the herbalist that did the money ritual for Adeyemi, who is currently at large, instructed him to keep the corpse for seven days.

The sources, however, recounted that a man identified simply as Lucky ran against the suspect as he was caught by nemesis when the decomposing body was found by his younger brother, who visited the house.

The brother of the Abuja based boyfriend therefore was said to have reported the incident to the police.

The Police PRO disclosed that some arrest had been made. He, however, said full briefing would be done by the state commissioner of police, Gbenga Adeyanju on the incident after the completion of investigations.
