EXPOSED! Man Impersonating Dead Singer Sound Sultan’s Wife Arrested

An alleged impersonator of late Nigerian singer, Sound Sultan’s wife has been arrested by the police.

Victor Majekodunmi had allegedly hacked the late singer’s Instagram account and was using same to defraud unsuspecting members of the public.

According to Sound Sultan’s brother, Baba Dee, Majekodunmi was pretending to be the late singer’s wife to swindle people.

He shared a photo of the alleged swindler on Instagram with the following caption: “This is the face of the scammer that hacked into my brother @soundsultan Instagram account after his death.

“His Name is victor Majekodunmi, a young with great potential yet so evil and heartless. He deleted a lot of his memories and chose to scam people by pretending to be @faridafasasi.

“I’m happy to announce that we have taken control of the account and he is presently cooling off in police custody. Thanks to everybody that showed concerned and helped nab [the] young, hardened criminal.”

Sound Sultan’s wife, Farida Fasasi, had in August raised the alarm about the take-over of her late husband’s Instagram account by suspected hackers.

“Kindly disregard any communication from all @soundsultan ‘s social media accounts

“The accounts have been hacked by scammers sending messages to innocent people to solicit funds. Please the family has no control over the accounts.

“Let’s be watchful. Cybercrime is at an all-time high. Thank you so much for your support all the way..you would be informed when we have control over the accounts,” Farida had said in a post.

Sound Sultan, real name Olanrewaju Abdul-Ganiu Fasasi, died in the United States on July 11, 2021 months after being diagnosed with “Angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma” in the throat.

The 44-year-old was survived by his wife and three children.
