The PDP chieftain, in a statement via twitter, said that the party needs serious prayers.
Fani-Kayode, who was the spokesperson of the PDP Presidential Campaign Organization in the last general elections, made the statement after the party’s caucus chose former Borno State Governor, Ali Modu Sheriff, as its acting national chairman.
Recall that the PDP’s National Caucus, on Tuesday appointed the ex-governor as its acting national chairman pending when the party’s Board of Trustees (BoT), will approve his appointment.

Reacting to this development, Mr. Fani-Kayode took to his Twitter page and said, “Given today’s events, it is clear to me that, more than at any other time in its 16 years in existence, the PDP needs serious prayers.”
