The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), on Monday, granted the former minister of Aviation, Femi Fani Kayode, bail from custody.
The minister who revealed this via his twitter handle @Realffk, said, “Thanks be to God. After another 24 days in detention I am finally out. Thanks for all ur love, prayers and support. We shall prevail.”

Fano Kayode was taken into custody by the EFCC on Friday, October 21, outside the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos.
He was thereafter slammed with a bail of N50 million, and remanded in Kuje prison.
He was leveled with money laundering charges, punishable under the Money Laundering Prohibition Act (2011) as amended in 2012.
