
Former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, has regained freedom from custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), after being arrested on May 9, 2016, in Abuja.
Fani-Kayode who spent more than 8 weeks in EFCC detention, regained freedom on Friday evening after meeting his bail conditions.
The EFCC had arraigned the former Aviation Minister alongside a former Minister of Finance, Nenadi Usman, as well as one Danjuma Yusuf, on a 17-count charge of alleged misappropriation of N4.9 billion.
