Fans Attack Burna Boy Over ‘Boastful’ Tweet On Being The Best

Following a tweet by Nigerian Grammy-nominated artist, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu known professionally as Burna Boy, over being the best musician, the social media has been set agog as some followers attacked him for being boastful.

Burna Boy had taken to his twitter handle @Burnaboy on Wednesday to claim that he’s the best Nigerian artist since the late Fela Anikulapo-Kuti.

The “killin Dem” crooner also shut a fan who said artists before him paved the way for the likes of him to sell Afrobeats to the world.

“Where Were you since 2010-2018?” asked Twitter user @JezzyJoseph, adding “I mean where the fuck are you when Afrobeat was struggling to hit the mainstream? The BEST paved the way for you. You came in when the table has already been set and here, you’re claiming the BEST since Fela.”

But Burna Boy responded saying “NOBODY paved shit for me. Everybody dey find them own.”

He added that, “Fact! I always knew I was and I am the best. Everyone you think is the best knows I’m best since Fela Kuti.”
