Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State has congratulated Senior Secondary students who sat for the National Examination Council, NECO, in the state over their performance in the recently released exam result.
The 2017 NECO result were released on Thursday, with Ekiti State emerging best-performing state.
Amazingly Ekiti also led in 2016.
Celebrating the feat via a tweet on his official Twitter handle, the very elated Fayose thanked students and staff for the achievement.
Ekiti leads with the best results in NECO 2017.

The Council says out of the 1,051,472 candidates who sat for the examinations, only 745,053 got at least five credits, including Mathematics and English Language.
NECO registrar, Prof. Charles Uwakwe, said this year’s performance shows a general improvement 1.11 per cent, compared to the 2016 result.
