Governor Ayodele Fayose has placed a N1 million bounty on the killers of two Ekiti State University (EKSU) students.
Fayose promised to give the said amount to anyone who provides valuable information leading to the arrest of the suspected cultists.
The governor, in a series of tweets on Wednesday, revealed also that he has sent an executive bill to the Ekiti State House of Assembly, seeking death sentence for arrested cultists in the state.
“Owing to killings of two EKSU students by cultists, Bill to provide for death sentence for cultists has been sent to the House of Assembly.
“Anything that will prevent us from living peacefully in our State will be confronted with everything that we have.
“Anyone with information that can lead to the arrest of the cultists responsible for the murder of two students of EKSU will be given N1m.
“Anyone with such information should call or send sms to: 07031904798.
“Information provided will be treated discreetly and identity of whoever offers such information will be protected.
“Let’s work together to protect the lives of residents of Ekiti State,” said Fayose.
The WHISTLER gathered that the suspected cultists had beheaded one Ayodele Temilade, an undergraduate of EKSU, whose headless body was on Sunday night dumped in front of the University’s gate.
The suspected cultists had weeks ago killed one Ojo Segun, a 300 Level student of the university.
