FEC Approves 2018 Draft Budget

The Federal Executive Council has approved the Draft of 2018 Budget proposal.

This was announced by the Minister of Budget and National Planning, Udoma Udo Udoma at the end of the Council meeting in Abuja on Wednesday.

A date is to be fixed in liaison with the National Assembly for the President Muhammadu Buhari to submit the draft documents.

Recall that the FEC Meeting was put off on Wednesday, October 25th and rescheduled for Thursday, October 26 so as to give the Budget Ministry more time to finalise plans on the 2018 Budget Agenda.

Recall that President Buhari in December, 2016 presented the 2017 Budget proposal of N7.3 trillion before a joint session of the National Assembly.
