UPDATED: Federal High Court Adjourns Sowore, DSS Case To March 25

The Federal High Court in Abuja has adjourned the case between the Convener of the #RevolutionNow Movement, Omoyele Sowore and Olawale Bakare with the Department of State Services (DSS) and the Attorney General of the Federation to March 25.

Justice Inyang Ekwo gave the verdict following applications and agreements by the lawyers of the parties for time to make sure that processes follow the law.

Both the DG of DSS’ lawyer Isoun Awo and AGF’s lawyer, Abubakar Nuhu, did not object the motion to adjourn the matter to a later date.

The separate suits against the DSS and the AGF were filed by Mr. Femi Falana (SAN), Sowore’s lead counsel, and it borders on their alleged manhandling and illegal detention by the DSS as well as the violation of their fundamental human right.

The federal government is also prosecuting a case against Sowore, on an alleged treasonable felony.
