Fela’s Son, Seun Kuti Mocks Buhari’s Anti-Corruption Fight

Nigerian musician Seun Kuti has taken to social media to mock President Muhammadu Buhari’s Anti-Corruption fight.

In a series of tweets on Tuesday, the legendary singer said the anti-graft war of the All Progressives Congress, APC, is “selfish” and allegedly not in the interest of Nigerians.

He wrote: All dis una fight in APC no b to mke a BETTER NAIJA O, Na una SELFISH REASONS una dey fight for, MY PEOPLE MKE UNA WAKE UP AND SEE DER TRICKS, none of dem mean well for us, Na der pocket dem dey fight for, not Us.

He said in pidgin English, “Oga General Buhari we the PEOPLE OF NAIJA WAN SABI, Are You GENUINELY AND REALLY FIGHTING CORRUPTION (Kwaruption)?

“Since 2015, how many former PDP President, VP, Governor, Minister, NASS Member, Chairman, Councillor, etc don go prison 4 stealing our money? But all we hear from APC govt is, d last PDP govt steal and waste our money, so wen una go arrest all of dem including d ones wey dey APC?”
