Female Rapper, Nicki Minaj Sets World Record

Trinidadian-born American rapper, Onika Tanya Maraj, known professionally by the stage name Nicki Minaj, has officially sold 100 million plus of each of her studio album.

This was according to an American on air personality, Mike Adam, who tagged Minaj as the first female rapper to accomplish such great height.

The albums include Pink Friday, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, The Pinkprint.

Since her arrival on the screen, Minaj has received numerous accolades, including six American Music Awards, eleven BET Awards, three MTV Video Music Awards, four Billboard Music Award, a Billboard Women in Music Rising Star Award, and ten Award nominations.

Minaj popularly known for her colourful costumes and wigs is set to release her fourth studio album which is to drop later this year, thus creating a chance for her to further make a name in the industry.
