FG Appoints Tayyibat Atinuke, Ahmed Shettima As Consulate Generals To UAE, China
The federal government has appointed Tayyibat Atinuke Mohammed, as the Consul-General Designate to Dubai and Northern Emirates, and UAE.
It also appointed Ahmed Shettima, as the Consul-General Designate to Guangzhou, the People’s Republic of China.

Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, presented the appointment letters to them on Monday.

Tayyibat Atinuke Mohammed worked as the Consular Officer of the Nigerian High Commission, Sierra Leone, in 2014.
The Consulate fosters communications and relations between Nigeria and its host country.
It also plays a critical role between the host government, community, and Nigerian citizens in the diaspora.
