Dambazau promised that he would do everything “humanly possible” to provide the welfare needs of the officers and men of the various security agencies operating at the borders.

He said “plausible measures” would be taken by the government to improve the office and residential accommodation of security personnel at the borders.
The minister stressed the need for peaceful co-existence between residents of border communities and their neighbours.
He urged officers and men of the various security agencies at the borders to always be on red alert.
Dambazau said: “This is very necessary.
“More so now that a lot of terrorist activities are being perpetrated along our borders.”
