The Federal Government has approved the upgrading of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, to Moshood Abiola University of Science and Technology.
The Executive Secretary, National Universities Commission, Prof Abubakar Rasheed, made this known in an approval letter sent to the Ogun State Government on Monday.

Prof Rasheed delivered the letter to Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun, at the NUC Headquarters, Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.
MAUTECH becomes the 45th state university and the 85th public university in the country.
