FG Warns Against Buying Coronavirus Vaccine On Sale In Kano

The federal government has called on Nigerians to ignore the Coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine being hawked in Kano State.

Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, made the call at the ongoing presidential taskforce briefing on COVID-19.

Mohammed urged citizens not to patronise the hawkers.

“You must ignore the vaccine being hawked in Kano, which is called the COVID-19 vaccine. It is yellow in colour, it is not certified by anybody. Please don’t patronise the hawkers.”

He said enlightenment campaign has therefore continued to focus on the need for the populace to adhere strictly to social distancing and mass gathering restrictions.
