Former FMBN MD Kumo Gets Doctorate Award For Public Administration

Former Managing Director of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN), Gimba Ya’u Kumo, has been conferred with a doctorate award for public administration.

Kumo was honoured with the award by the Institute of Corporate and Public Administration of Ngeria (ICPAN) during a dinner that was held at the National Merit House Maitama on Monday in Abuja.

The award was received on Kumo’s behalf by B. Ali, who noted that the recognition of the former FMBN MD was foremost and well-deserving, especially with his historic impact and contributions in leadership and administration across several public and private organizations in Nigeria.

Kumo received the award alongside other distinguished administrators across several leadership structures in Nigeria.

The institute congratulated the awardees after they swore the oath of allegiance to be devoted and disciplined in abiding by the ethics and principles upon which the institute was established.

On his part, Ali thanked the institute and stressed that the honour conferred on Kumo will continue to encourage his input and engagement in corporate and public administration in Nigeria.
