FRSC Appoints Alphonses Godwin New Acting Zonal Commanding Officer

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has announced the appointment of Alphonses Godwin as the new acting Zonal Commanding Officer (ZCO) for Osun, Oyo, and Ondo states.

The Zonal Public Enlightenment Officer, Adegboye Banke, disclosed this to newsmen on Thursday in Osogbo.

He said, “Godwin, until his appointment, was enlisted into the corps in 1996 with a wealth of experience in the corps’ operational activities.

“He was also the former Sector Commander in Delta, Jigawa, and Plateau States before his last position as the Corps Commander RMA at the FRSC headquarters in Abuja.”

The new ZCO is a graduate of International Studies from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, and a fellow of the Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria (FISPON), among other professional bodies.

Godwin, who is married with children, officially resumed his new role on July 16.
