Full List Of 74 Political Parties Deregistered By INEC

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), on Thursday, deregistered 74 political parties in the country for non-performance.

INEC made the announcement at a press briefing at the commission’s headquarters in Abuja Thursday.

The electoral umpire said in a tweet: “75 political parties did not satisfy the requirements of the Fourth Alteration to the Constitution. However, one of the political parties, the APP filed a suit in court and obtained an order restraining the Commission from deregistering it”
