Ganduje Bribe Video: ‘People Now Ask Me For Dollar Everywhere I Go’ – Kwankwaso

Former Kano state governor, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, has lamented how his successor, Governor Abdullahi Ganduje’s bribery allegation has caused Nigerian Muslims, the people of Kano, and himself grave embarrassment.

Kwankwaso said Ganduje has subjected Kano State, the Hausa-Fulanis, and Muslims across the country to ridicule because of the videos circulating the internet where the governor was seen throwing bundles of dollars being alleged bribe proceeds from government contractors into his ‘babban riga’ otherwise known as ‘Agbada’

In a video posted by a Facebook user ‘Ben Agande’, the Senator recalled a scenario when one of his colleagues at the National Assembly mockingly asked him for dollar and dared to search his ‘babban riga’ when he told him that he had none.

Kwankwaso, who spoke in Hausa language in the video, said Governor Ganduje has not only embarrassed his own family, but has allegedly humiliated every citizen of Kano state and beyond.

The Senator’s statement comes barely 24 hours after some members of the National Assembly Kano State caucus of All Progressives Congress (APC) passed a vote of confidence on Governor Ganduje for his achievements since assuming office.
