The new SSG takes the office that was previously occupied by Mr. Kenneth Kobani, a former Rivers State Commissioner of Finance.

Meanwhile, Governor Wike has re-appointment Engr. Chukwuemeka Woke as his Chief of Staff and is expected to swear-in the two officials at the Executive Council Chambers of the Government House in Port Harcourt on Monday.

Wike, who was re-elected during that last generation elections, had taken the oath of office as governor of Rivers state for another four-year term on May 2019.

The governor was sworn in by Justice Adama Iyaye-Laminkar at the Yakubu Gowon stadium in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.
