Gov Zulum To Evacuate Borno Refugees In Chad, Niger, Cameroon

In a move to repatriate citizens of Borno State taking refuge in Cameroon, Niger and Chad, Governor Babagana Zulum has visited the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons (NCFRMI), in Abuja.

Zulum was at the commission to seek collaborative support so as to bring back Borno citizens in those countries, who are willing to return to the state for permanent resettlement.

The governor was accompanied by the Chief Whip of the House of Representatives, Mohammed Monguno and Special Adviser and Coordinator, Sustainable Development, Partnerships and Humanitarian Support, Mairo Mandara to the meeting which took place at the Federal Secretariat.

The team held discussion with the Federal Commissioner of NCFRMI, Sen. Basheer Garba Mohammed.
