Guardiola To Decide Future Next Week

Bayern Munich coach, Pep Guardiola has said he will make a decision over his future as the Bundesliga club’s manager next week.

The Spaniards three-year contract with Bayern is due to expire at the end of the season, with speculations linking him with a move to the Premier League next season.

However, after Bayern’s 1-0 win over Darmstadt on Tuesday night, the 44-year old refused to comment on questions about his future.

He said; “Tonight, I have no answer. Next week there will be clarity.”

Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge had previously remained non-committal on Guardiola’s future, saying: “There will be a Christmas surprise, either way.”

The news will be of massive significance to Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City, who are currently surveying the managerial landscape amid doubts over their current bosses.

Guardiola took over at Bayern following their treble win in 2013, and has won back to back Bundesliga titles.
