Gunmen Abduct NLC Chairman, Peter Jediel In Taraba
The Taraba State Council Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress, Peter Jediel has been kidnapped by gunmen.
The information was confirmed by his brother, Fidelis Jediel, who said the victim was abducted from his residence in Sunkani, Ardo- Kola Local Government Area of the state.

Fidelis noted that the gunmen who came in their numbers at midnight shot sporadically into the air, forcing their way into the house and whisking the chairman at gunpoint.
As of the time of filing this report, no contact has been made by his abductors to his family members.
Just two weeks ago, precisely January 24, gunmen had reportedly abducted and killed the Chairman of Ardo-Kola local government Council, Salihu Dovo.
The State Police Command confirmed that Dovo was killed following the inability of the abductors to escape with him after they noticed they were been trailed by local vigilante groups.
