Gunmen Attack Commissioner In Ibadan, Kill Driver

The Oyo State Commissioner for Lands, Abdulraheem Abiodun, was attacked on Tuesday night by unknown gunmen.

Abiodun’s driver was killed in the process, while his orderly, who sustained bullet wound during the attack, has been hospitalized.

Channels TV reports that the attack occurred around 8:00 p.m. at the commissioner’s residence in Ibadan, Oyo State.

The report said the police were still investigating those behind the attack and their motive.
