There is pandemonium around the Ekiti State government house in Ado-Ekiti, as security operatives have reportedly blocked entrance to the premises.
According to reports, the armed policemen fired gunshots into the air and released teargas.
Confirming the incident, the state governor, Ayodele Fayose, lamented the presence of armed security officials, who he said are part of the 30,000 policemen deployed to the state by the federal government for the July 14 governorship election.
