Helicopter Crash: MASSOB Alleges Plot By North To Eliminate VP Osinbajo

The Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign States of Biafra (MASSOB) has alleged plot by the North to eliminate Vice President Yemi Osinbajo following the VP’s involvement in a helicopter crash on Saturday.

According to MASSOB, the helicopter crash was designed by the North to take Osinbajo out and replace him with another person as President Muhammadu Buhari’s running mate in the February 16 presidential election.

The group made the allegation in a statement by its leader, Uchenna Madu, on Sunday in Owerri, Imo State.

According to Madu “this is the last chance given to the vice president by God; he cannot continue to keep quiet and watch various atrocities being meted to Christians; God knows why he has saved his life.

“He cannot continue to watch while other zones perish in the hands of one zone; the vice president is a Christian and a pastor; he knows the implication of keeping quiet on matters like this; so he should be very careful.”

“In 2015, the northerners could not completely have their way because Tinubu was there; now if Osinbajo is not careful, the northerners will have their way to prepare the country for an Islamic state,” he said.

Osinbajo’s chopper crash landed at the Kabba township stadium yesterday evening when the Vice President visited Kogi State for the election campaign of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
