The youths, from Osissa community in the Ndokwa-East Local Government Area of the state, are protesting against the attacks and killing of three members of the community by Fulani herdsmen.
The SSG’s was said to be traveling to Asaba at about 6:55am, when his convoy was intercepted along the Ughelli-Asaba express by the protesters numbering over one thousand.
The aggrieved protesters, blocking all road, demanded that Fulani herdsmen vacate their land and that the killers of the community members be prosecuted.
