The Vice President, according to the state’s commissioner of information, Yakubu Dati, will visit the state to commiserate with leaders of some of the communities affected.

While the casualty figures for attacks of Saturday currently stand at 86, the reported attack on Kwi village could not be immediately verified.

Meanwhile, the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders’ Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) has described the ugly incident on Saturday as payback for the over 300 cattle reportedly rustled from herdsmen by residents of the communities that were attacked.
